Macbeth's personality begins off being very reliable and is a good friend of the Kings. He is very loyal and trustworthy. Later on in the play his personality is lower taken over by ambition to become King. Macbeth turns his work up side down in a number of ways. Such as murder and he also starts to loose all human dignity.

Macbeth did this because he was told he was going to be King, he wanted this to happen quickly so he took it into his own hands and killed the King.
